Controlled 1% iodine to treat navel of all of your newborn animals or as a mild disinfectant. These milder disinfectants will kill bacteria while not burning or irritating delicate skin tissue. Treatment should be done as soon after birth as possible and care should be taken not to allow dirt and debris into the navel.
